Our Love is Loud

The curtain falls on yet another year and marks the beginning of a new season the year 2010 no more 00.Heard someone asking what do we call this decade the tens?? coz before we had the 80s then came the 90s but after the millenium the confusion begun was it the 00s and now what is it. It was a tough year, challenging, happy and yet also a strange year coz not many things stand out sure a few big events took place but generally it feels and am sure many will agree it was a year that passed by in a blur. One day it was January and before you knew what hit you it was June and you were left wondering where did the rest of the year go to. We have learnt some hard lessons repeated others that we didn't learn our first time around grown both in girth for some of us and in grit hopefully everyone. Lost some special people both near and close. Bennie mac,the king of pop himself MJ and those much closer to home Nick you fought the good fight Priscila you were a bright star gracing us with you

I Carry your Heart With Me

This is the title of a beautiful poem written by EE Cummings many years ago yet his words are as real and relevant today as they ever were. Am not much of a poetry fan but occasionally one captures my mind and causes me to pause and ponder a common truth told in a fresh way or a new previously unheard of truth which broadens my mind. This is one of the latter an old truth presented in such a fresh way it causes one to be mometarily blindsided like a beautiful sunset or a genuine laugh hope you enjoy and savor it just as i did. remember the line from tyler perry's diary of a mad black woman what shemar moore told kimberly Elise. yeah it was there when he proposed and no am not nuts for remembering the lines. I Carry Your Heart With Me i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)i am never without it(anywhere i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling) i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want no world(for beautiful you are my wor

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by And that has made all the difference. by: Robert Frost
