Life 101

Sometimes the hardest thing in life is knowing which bridges to cross and which to burn.
And sometimes a man meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it.
If it simply comes all in the beginning it wouldn't be better.
Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals;cherish the music that
stirs in your heart,the beauty that forms in your mind,the loveliness
that drapes your purest thoughts,for out of them will grow delightful
conditions,all heavenly environment;all of these if you but remain
true to them,your world will at last be built.
They only fall that strive to move,or lose that care to keep.
Weeping may endure for a night,but joy cometh in the morning.

Headstones Pt 7

"Thank you for coming down and identifying the body i know it can't have been easy for you" as he led the distraught woman out of the morgue. She allowed herself to be led by the gentle hand at her elbow out of the morgue even though his very touch was loathsome to her. They walked out into the warm sunshine although she doubted she would ever be warm again for an icy fist seemed to hold her heart in its grip and she vainly wondered if she would ever thaw out again. Walking in a trance she had no concept of time or grip on reality.In a daze the doctor helped her into a cab and gave the driver instructions on where she lived. He then paid the appropriate fare and she sunk back in her seat oblivious to the cab drivers attempt at small talk or her surroundings. She roused herself as from a deep sleep when the cab driver's voice penetrated the fog in her mind as he told her they had arrived. Women's Lib' and all that comes along with it

Yesterday my mum and i were catching in the evening as she prepared dinner as we often do as it's just the two of us now and we got to talking about some recent renovations done in our kitchen. I mentioned the badly done finishing or more like the lack of it to my mum. Point to note here, i have some OCD tendencies and for those who may be reading and have no idea what that is, OCD is obsessive compulsive tendencies think of the TV series,' The Monk ' or 'Sheldon' from the TV series ' The Big bang Theory now mine is not at such extreme levels but i like things ordered, neat and in their place. Growing up my father used to say when you do something do it well or don't bother at all. This ensured that to this day i will not start something that i don't intend to see through to the end.
